This United Vision involves ministry in our own United Churches and in work with partners across the country and around the globe. Our United Vision and our United work is funded by the Mission and Service Fund.

Hello from the New M&S Officer
Greetings,
My name is Darren Liepold and I am the new Mission and Service Fund Officer for the United Church of Canada. I come to this position with a great deal of passion for the United Church and the Mission and Service Fund. I spent 7 years working with the Mission Support Committee of Toronto Conference with three of the years as its chair. For the past two years, I have served on the Mission and Service Fund Advisory Committee. And I just completed a 6 month contract as the Conference Minister for Mission and Service Fund Support in Toronto Conference. For me there is no doubt that the Mission and Service Fund is the United Church of Canada.
This blog is a place where I hope that you might all share those good news stories of how the Mission and Service Fund is used in your congregations, presbyteries/districts, and conferences. Also I hope that you might share with us wonderful ways you have found to promote M&S in your sphere of influence. Tell us about your fund raising ideas and educational events that have worked.
In a few weeks time, I hope to have some pictures of my upcoming trip to Colombia where I will be meeting with United Church global partners at the upcoming Peace for Life Event.
