Mission and Service fund 2010 Congregational Objective Forms

The 2010 M&S Congregational Objective Forms will be mailed out from our office here in the next week. Your congregation should receive this by the 20th. Enthusiasts: please make sure you check with your church secretary or minister about the whereabouts of this important form. This year the deadline for submissions of your objective is April 16th, 2010.

Minutes for Mission 2010

The 2010 edition of Minutes for Mission will be shipping from the United Church warehouse this week November 9th-13th. Your pastoral charge will be receiving its copy in the next week or so. Note to enthusiasts: please check with your church secretary or your minister about this important resource.

Mission and Service Fund on Wondercafe

The Mission and Service Fund now has their own page on wondercafe. Please go to www.wondercafe.ca Under groups just search for the Mission and Service Fund group. It is a new way for supporters and enthusiasts to connect with one another.

And the Winner Is:

A few months back I offered people a challenge. On one Sunday, ask people to wear white clothes. Then over the next month, as people gave gifts to the Mission and Service Fund, their white clothes would be transformed into something more colourful.

I am pleased to announce the winner. It is St. Paul's United Church in Assiniboia, Saskatchewan. Here are some photos of their lives which have been brilliantly transformed by the Mission and Service Fund. Congratulations.
